The subject matter that we’re going to cover in this video sheds light onto a period of Persian history that was a far cry from the prestigious heights of its past glory. But the same can be said about the Islamic world in general because this was a period that brought an aggressive and energised Europe hell bent on acquiring resources from every corner of the world against Muslim states that had fallen behind in the race for technological progress.
