В Ливан предки данной ветви рода Джаркес прибыли из Самсуна в 1880 году. Прибыл, как выяснилось, один 13-летний мальчик вместе со своей тётей. Тётя умирает по пути, и в Ливане полностью осиротевшего мальчика принимает семья Сантино. Представители этой семьи не знали арабского языка, но проживали в Ливане. Мальчику дали фамилию Сантино-Джаркес, чтобы он не забыл о своём происхождении.

When the Russians raided a Circassian village, they killed thousands of people, burned houses and raped women. 1,200,000 Circassians were killed during the war. In 1864, the last fighters of the Circassian people who sacrificed everything for the sake of independence were also surrounded and killed. Circassians were exiled to the Ottoman Empire by ships. During the exile, 600,000-1,000,000 Circassians died. 91% of the Circassian population was subjected to ethnic cleansing. Today, there are 720,000 Circassians in the Caucasus. There are 3 million Circassians in Turkey, 350,000 in Jordan and Syria, and 7000 in Israel.

Huerk kafe is a dance of the Kabardian (Circassian) aristocracy. This class of people was limited by strict protocol and codes, which naturally manifested itself in dance. Aristocrats were forbidden to show emotions, freedom of movement, turn their backs to their partner, touch and much more.

In the Caucasus, to fight, as well as, by the way, to dance, was a privilege. Therefore, in the appearance of men, checkers has a special place. Another distinctive element was the sleeve. Its length also indicated the status. It was impossible to do dirty household work with such a sleeve, which is very indicative. But this was also a practical application - the long sleeve prevented accidental contact between a guy and a girl.

The women's suit, unlike the men's suit, was full of luxury. In addition to the rich embroidery and the sleeves already mentioned, the status of the girl was demonstrated by the second swing sleeve and a high hat. Representatives of princely surnames additionally wore wooden shoes - Ph'e wake, which elevated them above those present. In the original images, the height of such shoes could reach 20 centimeters, which is still impressive.

Despite the above, the main decoration of the aristocrats was modesty and dignity. This made Circassian dances so beautiful, and the Circassians themselves famous all over the world.
