ABDZAKH - Don't mispronounce Abdzakh anymore in 2023
Abdzakh is a language spoken by the Abazin people, who are predominantly located in the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as in the Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Krasnodar Krai regions of Russia.
It belongs to the Abazgi-Adyghe branch of the Northwest Caucasian language family.
The Abdzakh language has approximately 1,500 speakers and is currently considered endangered.
It is known for its complex grammatical structure and unique phonological features.
Pronunciation:
The pronunciation of 'Abdzakh' is abd-ZAKH, with stress on the second syllable.
Alternative variants include abd-ZAAKH or abd-ZAAKH-ee.

In the evening of May 21, Circassian activists in Istanbul held a march of many thousands along Istiklal Street in direction of the Russian Consulate General. The action was organized by the Confederation of Circassian organizations and Caucasian Diaspora in Turkey, and the march was also joined by Crimean Tatars representatives. The march involved Circassians, Adygs, Abkhazians, Vainakhs, Ossetians, and Crimean Tatars. In their hands, they were carrying the banners with the names of organizations and associations represented by their groups, as well as national flags. Besides, the activists were carrying the posters with slogans addressed to Russia and the international community and calling for recognition of the Circassian genocide and the cessation of repression of Circassian repatriates in Russia. Ayrıca ilginç şey de, Barkuko ölünce, oğlu Farac, Mısır’a sultan oldu, o da babasının izinden gitmiş olmalı, yoksullara da varsıllar gibi değer vermeyi sürdürdü.
