Especially in this video, in which I showed the results of an ethnic cleansing. A message can be taken from this, especially with irredentist movements. When one group is restored to their historical border, what happens to the different peoples currently living in said borders? Are they tolerated? Ethnically cleansed for the historical group to return? But then, isn’t that just as bad as the previous ethnic cleansing? Elmeskhan Hagundokova-Circassian Savior of France

Undoubtedly, one of the brightest Circassians, who left a bright trace in the history of several States - Elmeskhan Hagundokova. A hard life made her change the runway on the military training ground, and the character and aging has been successful in everything he undertook Elmeskhan. Noble family, work in the main fashion House, the Savior of thousands of lives - all this about her.

This is a wonderful story about the fate of the Circassian woman, the Commodore and honorary Brigadier General of France Elmeskhan Cherundolo.

Черкесы(адыги), а также абхазы, абазины и убыхи переселялись на территорию Османской империи в основном после Кавказской войны в XIX веке. Убыхи, насильно изгнанные русскими войсками в Турцию, потеряли идентичность и влились либо в турецкий этнос, либо в черкесский (адыгский). Черкесское(адыгское) население в Турции проживает практически повсеместно, в частности в провинциях Хатай и Самсун, а также в провинции Дюзче и городе Чанаккале.

Осетины в Турции живут в провинциях Карс и Йозгат 

Чеченцы живут в основном в городе Кахраманмараш,Карс,Сивас,Стамбул а также в провинции Мардин.

Дагестанская диаспора (в основном аварцы, лезгины и кумыки) проживают в провинциях Токат, Балыкесир, Ялова.

Карачаевцы и балкарцы проживают в регионе Конья.

The 21st of May, a day only a Circassian will remember. It is the day when the freedom loving people of the North Caucasus, the Circassians, after 100 years of continuous brutal war, nay massacre, by Tsarist Russia, and hundreds of years before that against other foes, finally succumbed to leave their heavenly lands under a deceitful trickery between the Tsars and Ottamans.

The result, a proud nation abandoning their heavenly homeland and falling into the wicked hands of manipulative war lords. Massacring and displacing over 1.5 million of this ancient civilization leaving less than 5% in the homeland in which they lived and loved from the dawn of time.

The peaks of the Caucasus mountains still cry’s for its children until this day, and today on the saddest of days, the 21st of May with the scar from 1864, every Circassians heart hears the motherlands cries for her children in the diaspora weeping out loud: Come back, for it is here you belong, free roaming amongst the peaks of Kazbek and Albrouz like your brave ancestors, but for now, always keep me in your brave heart.

The Circassian Circle appeared in the British ballroom in the 1820s from a concept of arranging a popular quadrille or country dance figure in a progressive Sicilian circle. It became very popular in several main forms and further versions evolved via the folk process in the villages of the British Isles. It was still very popular in Australia as a ballroom dance in the early decades of the 20th C enjoying a place on programmes up till the 1930s as part of the Old Time Dance revival. Any references to Circassian Circle up until then relate to these forms, part 2 did not exist till introduced through British folk dance revivals and the Australian ‘bush dance’ movement of the 1960s and 70s; ‘part 1’ was then used to distinguish the original progressive Sicilian style.
Thus the version commencing with the ‘right & left’ movement has been taken from figure 1 of ‘The Quadrille’ or ‘First Set’ and the version with the ‘hands across & back again’ (right & left star) is from figure 1 of the Caledonians Quadrille.
Lovenberry’s MC Manual of the Ithaca School of Dancing in Brisbane 1884 lists nine different versions of Circassian Circle of which No. V is a particularly good version incorporating both figure 1 of the Caledonians Quadrille and Galop forward and back around the circle followed by a half ladies’ chain for the progression. This has been shown as version 3.
Other Circassian Circles described have adapted country dance figures such as from the Spanish Waltz into what is now known as the Waltz Country Dance, and the British folk dance ‘Cottages’ can be linked to a Circassian Circle arrangement from figure 4 of the Lancers, whilst the American version of the Soldier’s Joy is a Circassian Circle adaptation from an earlier Country Dance by that name.
Circassian Circle part 2 was not known by that name in Australia till the 70s bush dance revival, but was known under the name of Stockyards or Bull Ring as a final figure of the Quadrille (First Set).

Tens of thousands of Circassians, an ethnic group originating from Russia's Caucasus region, are believed to be living in Syria.<br /><br />But now many of them are trying to return to their ancestral homeland. <br /><br />The majority of the community are supporting the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and they fear reprisals if the opposition takes over.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sue Turton reports from Nalchik in northern Caucasus.

The truth is; Circassia, which has supposedly been destroyed, actually exists! We will be in Taksim on May 22!
