Da sich Claire weigert und ausgepeitscht wird, sieht Geillis nur noch eine Chance: sie gesteht, eine Hexe zu sein und wird zum Tode verurteilt. Zu der Zeit kommt Jamie in den Gerichtssaal gestürmt und nimmt Claire mit. Endlich in Sicherheit, erzählt Claire Jamie ihre ganze Geschichte. - Und er glaubt ihr. Er bringt sie zum Craigh Na Dun, damit sie in ihre Zeit zurückreisen kann. Doch sie entscheidet sich für Jamie.
