뉴진스의 첫 도쿄돔 팬 미팅에서 하니가 '푸른 산호초'를 부르기 시작하자 돔 전체가 들썩입니다.

객석에서 덩실덩실 춤을 추는 유명한 현대미술가 무라카미 다카시가 목격됐을 정도입니다.

"눈부신 무대였다", "40년 전 일본을 끌어왔다"는 등 반응이 뜨거웠습니다.

푸른산호초는 전설적인 아이돌 마츠다 세이코가 1980년에 부른 노래로 일본 장년층에게는 거품경제로 좋았던 80년대를 상징하는 곡입니다.

복고주의를 내세운 뉴진스와 잘 어울리면서 뜨거운 호응을 얻었습니다.

이 노래는 영화 '러브레터'의 남자 주인공이 흥얼거리는 노래로 삽입돼 한국에도 알려져 있습니다.

도쿄돔은 일본 최정상급 무대로 테일러 스위프트가 지난 2월 공연해 화제가 되기도 했습니다.

뉴진스 소속사 어도어는 "데뷔 후 1년 11개월만에 도쿄돔에 입성한 것은 해외 아티스트 중 최단기간"이라고 밝혔습니다.

27일까지 이틀간 열린 공연은 티켓이 매진돼 추가로 마련한 시야 제한석을 포함해 9만 천여 명이 행사를 즐겼습니다.

일본 애플뮤직의 인기차트 100위 안에 뉴진스가 8곡을 올릴 정도로 주목을 받았습니다.

Who are the Circassians and what is the Circassian Genocide?
Circassians are a native people of the Caucasus. They had been living in the North Caucasus for thousands of years. They are very good cavalry people. They have defended their homeland throughout history. They did not surrender their homeland against the Huns, Mongols, Timurids, and countless many invaders. The Russians, which quickly became a great power from the 16th century, began to occupy Circassia in 1763. They were planning to seize the Circassian lands in a short time. Because they saw the Circassians as a small community fighting on horseback in the mountains, unable to challenge an empire. However, Circassians showed an incredible resistance against the Russians for 101 years. The resistance was so incredible that a Russian general who raided a Circassian village was erased from history by the Circassians in weeks. The population of Eastern Circassia had dropped from 250,000 to 35,000 during the war. In 1827 the Russians were able to capture eastern Circassia. Circassians migrated to the lands of their western cognates just to continue fighting. The children of Circassians were born in the middle of the war and often only saw their fathers when their bodies arrived from the front in the village. This lifestyle exhausted the Circassian people. The herds that used to be abundant now became smaller. The Russians were committing incredible massacres against Circassians. When the Russians raided a Circassian village, they killed thousands of people, burned houses and raped women. 1,200,000 Circassians were killed during the war. In 1864, the last fighters of the Circassian people who sacrificed everything for the sake of independence were also surrounded and killed. Circassians were exiled to the Ottoman Empire by ships. During the exile, 600,000-1,000,000 Circassians died. 91% of the Circassian population was subjected to ethnic cleansing. Today, there are 720,000 Circassians in the Caucasus. There are 3 million Circassians in Turkey, 350,000 in Jordan and Syria, and 7000 in Israel.

Dance of the Anatolian Circassians or locally known as Sheshen is a very popular Circassian dance performed in every wedding and celebration ceremony. Its origin is not known clearly, but modern versions are inspired by Circassians living in Turkey. It has a moderate pace although there are some faster versions mixed with Lezginka in some regions.

Every couple performs the dance inside a wide circle surrounded by the crowd and guests. Couples take the floor one by one and show their skills to the community. The man needs to do his best to get the woman's attention and the crowd's appreciation. The other men in the circle encourage and support him during the dance with cheers and chants. Although there are some basic elements, custom improvisations are very important. Performers should not repeat other people's patterns and they have to be creative because individual compositions are seen as a signature for the person. Like all other Circassian dances, the dance duration depends on the woman and keeps going on until she decides to finish it. It's accepted a very rude behavior if the man leaves the scene first.

Adyghe ( or ; Adyghe: Адыгабзэ, translit. Adygabzæ [aːdəɣaːbza]), also known as West Circassian (КӀахыбзэ, K’axybzæ), is one of the two official languages of the Republic of Adygea in the Russian Federation, the other being Russian. It is spoken by various tribes of the Adyghe people: Abzekh, Adamey, Bzhedug, Hatuqwai, Temirgoy, Mamkhegh, Natekuay, Shapsug, Zhaney and Yegerikuay, each with its own dialect. The language is referred to by its speakers as Adygebze or Adəgăbză, and alternatively transliterated in English as Adygean, Adygeyan or Adygei. The literary language is based on the Temirgoy dialect.
There are apparently around 128,000 speakers of Adyghe in Russia, almost all of them native speakers. In total, some 300,000 speak it worldwide. The largest Adyghe-speaking community is in Turkey, spoken by the post Russian–Circassian War (circa 1763–1864) diaspora; in addition to that, the Adyghe language is spoken by the Cherkesogai in Krasnodar Krai.
Adyghe belongs to the family of Northwest Caucasian languages. Kabardian (also known as East Circassian) is a very close relative, treated by some as a dialect of Adyghe or of an overarching Circassian language. Ubykh, Abkhaz and Abaza are somewhat more distantly related to Adyghe.
The language was standardised after the October Revolution in 1917. Since 1936, the Cyrillic script has been used to write Adyghe. Before that, an Arabic-based alphabet was used together with the Latin. In recent years, use of the Latin script has seen a resurgence, particularly among Circassian Nationalists. Originally unstandardised, all dialects of Adyghe are now included in the ICSLO (Indigenous Caucasian Standard Latin Orthography), providing a standardised Latin script that is gaining popularity. (The ICSLO treats Kabardian as a dialect of Adyghe, so Kabardian-exclusive consonants such as the labiodental ejective fricative are also represented in its Adyghe Latin script.)
