The Republic of Adyghea is in Russia's south. People who live here are called the Adyghes. They say the Adyghes are one of the oldest peoples in the world. Today these people are scattered around the world. According to some reports, the Adyghe population today is 14 million. Here, people still abduct their brides and bridegrooms, never meeting their future wife's parents. Here you can find old table-stones and also meet the first female gunsmith in the Northern Caucasus

Well, the same way that Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia did! The subject matter that we’re going to cover in this video sheds light onto a period of Persian history that was a far cry from the prestigious heights of its past glory. But the same can be said about the Islamic world in general because this was a period that brought an aggressive and energised Europe hell bent on acquiring resources from every corner of the world against Muslim states that had fallen behind in the race for technological progress.
