Russian traffic police discovered an unusual passenger when they pulled over a car for speeding in in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic last weekend. The police officers stopped the car as its driver hastily raced down the road over the speed limit. The two passengers were attempting to hide a cow in the back seat and police soon discovered that the men had stolen the cow from a farm nearby. The cow is now with its owner and the thieves will face charges.<br />

The Kabardin (Circassian / Adyghe) are the main ethnic group of Kabardino-Balkaria, a small republic in the south of the Russian Federation. Approximately 600,000 Kabardin live in Russia. These proud people are brave warriors and skilful land tillers. Their history is a history of battles for freedom, honor and the right to live in accordance with centuries-old traditions which have long since become their way of life.

We speak to the peoples of the world and the conscientious people of Russia; don't take part in your state's crimes
RECOGNIZE THE GENOCIDE!
Despite all our suffering, trauma and human rights violations, we are not aiming to revive historical hostilities. We raise our demand for justice.
IF THERE IS NO JUSTICE, THERE IS NO PEACE!
We declare that we will never forget the Circassian Genocide and the perpetrator of this genocide.
