Tens of thousands of Circassians, an ethnic group originating from Russia's Caucasus region, are believed to be living in Syria.
But now many of them are trying to return to their ancestral homeland.

This was a global partner to demonstrations in Istanbul, Amman, Haifa, Munich, Hamburg, Montreal, and other locations where Circassians and people with compassion demanded Circassian rights on the 147th anniversary of the Circassian Genocide.
