The 21st of May, a day only a Circassian will remember. It is the day when the freedom loving people of the North Caucasus, the Circassians, after 100 years of continuous brutal war, nay massacre, by Tsarist Russia, and hundreds of years before that against other foes, finally succumbed to leave their heavenly lands under a deceitful trickery between the Tsars and Ottamans.

The result, a proud nation abandoning their heavenly homeland and falling into the wicked hands of manipulative war lords. Massacring and displacing over 1.5 million of this ancient civilization leaving less than 5% in the homeland in which they lived and loved from the dawn of time.

The peaks of the Caucasus mountains still cry’s for its children until this day, and today on the saddest of days, the 21st of May with the scar from 1864, every Circassians heart hears the motherlands cries for her children in the diaspora weeping out loud: Come back, for it is here you belong, free roaming amongst the peaks of Kazbek and Albrouz like your brave ancestors, but for now, always keep me in your brave heart.

Занятия проходят 2 дня в неделю по выходным! 🔘Детская группа - с 13:00 до 15:00;
🔘Начинающая группа - с 15:00 до 16:30;
🔘Продолжающая группа - с 16:30 до 18:00;
🔘Ансамбль - с 18:00 до 20:00. Также возможны и индивидуальные занятия в удобное вам время!

On this day 157 years ago, one of the most brutal military campaigns in modern history came to an end with the occupation of Circassia and the forced exodus of what was left of the Circassian nation after 101 years of defending their homeland from the Russian invaders. With more than 90% of the Circassian nation killed or forcefully expelled to what was then the Ottoman Empire, the atrocities committed during this war by the Russian invaders is considered by many the worst genocide in modern history. Circassia’s fallen heroes and the tragedy of ethnic cleansing may be unknown to many, but to Circassians, 21 May 1864 will never be forgotten.

في مثل هذا اليوم قبل ١٥٧ عاما، انتهت احدى أكثر الحملات العسكرية وحشية في التاريخ المعاصر باحتلال شركيسيا والتهجير القسري لما تبقى من الشعب الشركسي بعد ١٠١ عام من الدفاع عن وطنهم أمام الغزاة الروس. يمكن اعتبار ما حصل من قتل وتهجير ما يقارب ٩٠٪؜ من الشعب الشركسي الى الامبراطورية العثمانية أسوأ ابادة جماعية وتطهير عرقي في العصر الحديث. قد تكون ذكرى أبطال شركيسيا وابادتهم الجماعية غير معروفة للكثير، الا أن ٢١ أيار ١٨٦٤ يوم لا ينسى للشعب الشركسي.


157 yıl önce bugün, modern tarihin en acımasız askeri saldırılarından biri, Çerkesya'nın işgali ve 101 yıl boyunca vatanlarını Rus işgaline karşı savunan Çerkeslerin zorla göç ettirilmesiyle sona erdi. Çerkeslerin % 90'ından fazlasının katledildiği veya zorla Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'na sürüldüğü bu savaş sırasında Çarlık Rusyasının işlediği zulüm, birçokları tarafından modern tarihin en korkunç soykırımlarından biri olarak kabul ediliyor. Çerkesya'yı savunmak için hayatını kaybedenler ve yaşanan etnik temizlik hâlâ yeterince bilinmiyor olsa da Çerkesler 21 Mayıs 1864'ü hiçbir zaman unutmadı ve hiçbir zaman unutmayacak.
