Film Ortaçağ Mısır'ı Adige Sultanlarının başarılarını, bıraktıkları yapıtları konu olarak ele alıyor. Mısır'a sultan olmuş Adige Sultanı sayısı 45. Adigeler 250 yıl boyunca kesintisiz olarak Mısır İmparatorluğu'nu yönettiler. Mısır, Doğu'nun en güçlü imparatorluğu sayılıyordu. <br /><br />Barkuko’yu henüz on yaşında bir çocuk iken kaçırmışlardı. Büyüyüp Mısır'a sultan olunca, ailesini Mısır'a getirtti ve ölünceye değin onları yanında (ордэунэ) alıkoydu. Barkuko döneminde Mısır’daki her düzenleme politik yönden ya da toplumsal yaşam yönünden olsun, Adige geleneği ve kurallarına uygun olarak yürütülüyordu. Ayrıca ilginç şey de, Barkuko ölünce, oğlu Farac, Mısır’a sultan oldu, o da babasının izinden gitmiş olmalı, yoksullara da varsıllar gibi değer vermeyi sürdürdü. Yoksullara köle (рабство) denmesine, köle muamelesine ve ardından köleliğe son verdi. Dünya -insanlık tarihi- açısında bu olay, büyük bir gelişimin ilk adımı olmuştur.

Circassians, the indigenous peoples of the Caucasus, were exiled from their homeland at the end of the Russo-Circassian War. The expulsion was launched before the end of the war in 1864 and it was mostly completed by 1867.
Emanne was honored to perform this song alongside members of the folkloric dancing troop of The International Circassian Cultural Academy, Amman Jordan, July 2018.
